Kim M. Braud

Kim M. Braud is a published author, investigative documentary filmmaker, publisher, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor whose work includes history, business, public policy, and economic empowerment.

With more than three decades of experience in insurance, marketing, logistics, and entrepreneurship, she has helped founders build sustainable businesses while documenting stories that preserve overlooked history and challenge institutional narratives.

As founder of Evans Cutchmore Publishing and The Couvent Collective, Kim develops books, documentaries, educational resources, and business programs designed to create long-term economic impact. Her work includes publishing historical nonfiction, entrepreneurship guides, financial literacy curriculum, children's books, and investigative projects exploring the legacy of Marie Couvent and New Orleans history.

Her forthcoming documentary expands on years of independent research into infrastructure, public policy, and disaster preparedness, while her publishing work continues to amplify voices and stories often absent from mainstream conversations.

Beyond publishing, Kim has taught hundreds of entrepreneurs, advised business owners nationwide, and speaks on entrepreneurship, legacy building, government contracting, publishing strategy, and economic development.

Whether writing books, producing documentaries, or advising founders, her mission remains the same:  Build lasting institutions. Preserve important stories. Create generational opportunity.
